Sokoli worked with a design team to create cutting edge holiday experiences that were inclusive with current interactive elements that engaged visitors in a memorable experience. Scale was an important component when working within the grandiose spaces of a shopping center. Initial concepts were driven by the mall marketing teams and then interpreted by Sokoli and team to ensure that each design was a "one-of-a-kind" creation. Sokoli executed site visits to establish key areas to feature holiday decor as well as inspected electrical supply and rigging points throughout the centers. Designs were completed for some of the finest shopping center development companies throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Middle East as well.
Large-scale special design and planning allows the presentation of ideas, merchandising and custom experiences to be executed in a grand scale. Glenn Sokoli considers composition, scale, color and placement in his designs. Shopping Center, visual merchandising programs were created for many of the Rouse Company malls, Sokoli directed and created large fashion presentations throughout the malls on stages that floated on fountains, suspended in the air for viewers to see from the upper and lower levels. Monthly changes allowed customers to see fashions pulled from many retailers throughout the malls,
Product launches, events and showrooms are all treated as “one of a kind” installations. With Kenneth Cole, Nautica, Macys and Joseph Abboud to name a few, design, production, delivery, installation and even merchandising were all completed, as a turnkey services were offered.
DIFFA “Dining by Design” event gave the opportunity to showcase the talents of students from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Sokoli led the students in the design of an 11’ X 11’ space including the set, furniture, table-scape and lighting. Each installation was overseen by noted event planners like David Stark, Jes Gordon, David Beahm, Preston Bailey and sponsored by Benjamin Moore. He has also mentored students as part of a collaboration with PAVE and FIT to create jaw dropping sculptures and conceptual mannequins for industry events.

Customized design presentations were created for clients who are in need of concept development. Glenn Sokoli developed complete concepts for various merchandising programs and decoratives customized for national retail brands. Using his skill in project management and construction, Sokoli created spec documents, fabrication diagrams, materials and color stories, and assembly renderings that were included in the presentations.
Following up to the concept development and presentation, Sokoli acted as a project manager to closely monitor vendors, materials, fabrication, handling and delivery to each client. Frequent dialogue was conducted throughout each project to ensure clarity, accuracy and customer satisfaction.
